when the school was established, HPS has continued to make significant strides in improving its curriculum and mode of teaching.
When it opened its doors to accept students in 1994, it was under the name of Al-Rashad Private School and it implemented the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum. However, in the academic year 2013-2014, the school decided to change to the British Curriculum out of demand from the community and directions of the UAE National Agenda and obtained academic accreditation and approval from the Ministry of Education as a British School.
The school has had some excellent attainment results since converting to a British curriculum. The very next year in 2014-2015 academic year, Harvest School achieved five outstanding rankings in the English language in the International Benchmark Test (IBT). Again, in the year 2015-2016, the school achieved above average IBT results in the English language. The school obtained accreditation from Cambridge International Educational Association. In the same year, the school achieved the second position in the Quran and Hadith competition held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.
In the year 2016-2017, the school changed its name to Harvest Private School. In the same year, the school IBT Mathematics results produced seven outstanding positions nationally.
The school consists of four sections, specifically the kindergarten (Phase 1), Primary (Phase 2), Secondary (Phase 3) and the High School (Phase 4). The boys’ and girls’ classes are held separately in a separate section. HPS is fully licensed to provide K-12 classes and is looking forward to serve the community as best as it can by improving the facilities, services, academic programs and effective teaching and learning in the classroom.
